About SERP Previews
Search engines format your page's title and description differently across devices and platforms. This tool shows a realistic preview for:
- Google Desktop — Up to ~600px title width, ~160 chars description
- Google Mobile — Slightly narrower, same limits but displayed in a phone frame
- Bing — Similar rules but uses Segoe UI font with slightly different styling
- Social (OG) — Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter use Open Graph tags; falls back to title/description
FAQ
Why do my Google and Bing previews look different?
Bing and Google use different fonts and character rendering, which affects how many characters fit before truncation. Bing also has slightly different color schemes and layouts.
What is the ideal title length for Google?
Keep titles under 600px wide (roughly 50–60 characters). Google truncates anything wider with an ellipsis in search results.
How does social sharing work without OG tags?
Social platforms will fall back to your page's title and meta description if no og:title or og:description tags are present. Always set dedicated OG tags for best results.
Does this tool send my data anywhere?
No. All previews are generated entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is stored or transmitted.
