How do I get an ImgBB API key?
Visit api.imgbb.com, create a free account, and copy your API key from the dashboard. ImgBB's free tier supports unlimited uploads with no expiry.
Is the API key stored?
No. The key is only held in memory for the duration of the upload and is never saved to storage or sent anywhere except directly to ImgBB's API.
Are uploaded images public?
Yes — both services host images publicly. Do not upload private, sensitive, or personal images.
